Happy Birthday Mom!

Mauri family!! Glad I get the chance to give you all a quick update on what's going on here. But first things first...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Just so you know, I was the first one to wish you a happy birthday on April 30! Also, as a birthday present to you, we baptized 5 new people. It was a good day!!!

Things are going very well here in Kiribati. This week has been crazy with E Peeti leaving. We've had so many karaures (going away parties), gifts given to us, long speeches about us, and lots of food. Everyone is pretty sad that EP is leavinig, including me. But things have to change sometime, right?

Speaking of change...I'm having a kid! Now Dad, before you lose it, just know that that's code for training a new missionary. I'm getting transferred to Abemama on May 17. My new companion is named Elder Sheffield. He's been a missionary for almost a year, but he's been working in the Marshall islands and just got transferred to Kiribati. So I get to train him in Kiribati!! I've been looking forward to training for a long time, so I'm excited to finally start. I'm pretty sad to leave Kainaba and Nabeina, but I've heard a lot of good things about Abemama and it'll be fun to go to an outer island! We'll see what happens!!

As far as the skype goes...i don;t know much about it. I think I'll be skyping on the 15 (14th for you), but I'm not entirely sure. I'm pretty excited to talk to all of you though!

It was so fun to hear all about stake conference!! i can't believe all the missionaries that are going out! Maverick, Carter, Wyatt, Denver, and Andy will all do great. I'm so excited for them!!!

I love seeing all the pictures of you guys and the things you are doing! Keep updating me please! I have no idea what the internet is like on Abemama, but I'd still love to get emails! I have so many cool things to tell you, but not enough time!! Looking forward to the skype!!!
