Somewhere there is a three legged pig running around...

If I had to pick one word to describe this week, it would be RANDOM. There were so many crazy little things that happened this week, I really can't put together a coherent email to describe it. So...to a bullet list we go!
- We played volleyball in the biggest building in all of Kiribati, The Betio Sports complex. It's about the size of the Nixa HS main gym
- Our car got taken for maintenance, so we spent all of our money on buses and did a LOT of walking.
-We received an emergency radio call from Nikunau (the farthest outer island) saying that they had something urgent that couldn't wait until the next day. The CV radio is only open for 15 minutes a day, so we rushed to get there to contact them. OF course, we had no car...so we missed them.
- The only other form of contact was Facebook messenger (the internet is too slow for email). So if any of you saw my profile logged in, I was doing it with the mission president sitting next to me trying to figure out the emergency in Nikunau.
- It turns out it was just a problem with some of the members out there. No deaths or limbs lost.
- We found a severed pig foot in the middle of a footpath in our village. You know what that means? Somewhere there is a three legged pig running around...
- We had a baptism this week! We were his third set of Elders, and he finally got baptized!
- That's about it!!!!
Sorry for the short email. Have a great week everyone!
